Coaches Q&A with Danny Algeo:

Note – This interview with Danny was done two days before he passed away. My thoughts go out to the Algeo family. God bless!

Q. What are his strengths at Offensive Lineman?

A. He’s a good drive blocker and pulls very well. He has good feet and pass blocks very well. He’s the guy that’s going to set the tempo for us up front.

He’s our leader on the line.

He’s the guy that is making the scheme of the play happen and making sure everyone is in the right place.

Q. What are his strengths on defense?

A. He’s a tough kid, a good pass rusher and run stopper. This year we need his leadership on the defensive line and he will be one of the guys battling offensive lineman play after play and playing the tackle position as the guy who anchors the line.

Q. What’s he doing in the offseason?

A. He’s lifting and running like all the kids this offseason. He has been going to speed camps and working on technique. He’s great in the weight room and works with the other players and is very well respected by everyone.
