Coaches Q&A with Jim Roth:

Q. What are his strengths at wide receiver?

A. He has tremendous ball skills. He has above average speed and great balance. He can go up and get that ball and catch everything that is thrown at him.

He’s our playmaker and is a threat to go the distance every time he touches the ball. He’s a good possession receiver.

Q. What are his strengths on defense?

A. He’s very good in coverage and is a good tackler. Again, his ability to play the ball is such a critical part of our defense. He has good athleticism and good jumping ability and he’s able to put it all together.

He has ability to play the ball when its in the air and is one of the best I have ever seen at the high school level.

He makes plays on the receiver.

He will play strong side corner or by game plan he will cover a top receiver from the other team.

Q. How’s he as a kick and punt returner?

A. His ability at making big plays on a regular basis. Last year I think between kickoffs and punt returns he had five touchdowns.

He does a good job with extra points.
