Coaches Q&A with Frank McArdle:
Q. What are his strengths at running back?
A. He has great speed, vision and toughness. He’s very physical for his size and is a guy that can run inside or outside and is a better runner between the tackles.
When he gets in space he makes things happen and has good hands.
Q. When he does play corner for you what are his strengths?
A. We like to play him man-to-man. He’s a very physical football player and a good tackler. When he makes the tackle they usually go down.
Q. How’s he as a kick returner?
A. He’s a good kick returner. He has good vision and when he sees the hole he hits it.
Q. What’s he doing in the offseason?
A. He has been participating in all the 7-on-7 travel teams. He’s with us four nights a week running and lifting. On the weekends he’s doing camps. His summer is nothing but football seven days a week.
Q. Any final thoughts on him?
A. He’s an awesome person and everyone loves him and he’s a great teammate. He’s a much better person than he’s a football player and I think he’s a very good football player.
