Coaches Q&A with Bruce Harbach:

Q. What are his strengths as an offensive lineman?

A. He has quick feet and has great pass blocking ability. He’s a good run blocker and has a lot of force behind his blocks.

Q. What are his strengths on defense?

A. He has good quickness off the ball and can either be a bull rusher or can be a speed rusher. He has great lower body strength and makes plays on the line.

Q. What’s he doing in the offseason?

A. He’s working on his upper body strength and working hard in the weight room with our strength coach. He’s very dedicated and wants to get better. He works hard at it.

Q. What kind of leader is he?

A. He’s a quiet young man. I have seen him mature over the past few years and now he’s stepping up and taking that leadership role as a senior on our offensive line.

Q. Final Thoughts on Keegan?

A. He comes from a great family and it was really neat seeing him develop over the past four years. He’s a good role model to the younger players.

Q. Talk about his commitment to Villanova?

A. He had a couple of choices and he called me and said he wanted to make a decision by July and he called me to let me know he picked Villanova.

They have a lot coming back and he will learn from those older kids. We have a player down there, Hall Ross that can be a mentor to him.

Nova is close to home and his family can go see him play within driving distance and it’s a good program. They have been a national power the last few years.
