Coaches Q&A with Joe Henrich:
Q. What are his strengths on defense?
A. He’s a big strong kid who is long. He has long arms and really get’s at the quarterback and last year he got stronger each game. He used his lower and upper body well.
He’s a high motor guy and is going to run all over the field and make plays for you. He’s very athletic for his size. His speed helps him get at the quarterback really well.
He’s a good run stopper and pass rusher. He’s good at tracking people down.
Q. This year he’s going to play some tight end and line up as a H-Back. How much offense will he play this year?
A. This year he’s going to get some pass routes and do some blocking for us. He’s got good hands and used to be a tight end for us.
He will be a factor in our running game and as big as he is it’s like having another athletic lineman out there.
