Coaches Q&A with John Toman:

Q. What kind of leader is he?

A. He shows it on the field, but he isn’t afraid to voice his opinion if someone isn’t giving a full effort on the field. The younger kids look up to him. He has a good relationship with all his players. He would rather get the job done with out talking, but if he needs to be vocal, he will.

Q. What type of quarterback is he?

A. He’s very football savvy and he knows the game. He has a great arm and good feet. He can make all the throws and is mobile.

There will be times in the game where he will call his own plays and has a certain list of plays to go to.

He is very competitive and he has that “it” factor. He has been very successful and wants to win. He brings out the best in all our players.

In the big games he shined with his arm and feet and especially in the playoffs he came of age in those games.
