Coaches Q&A with Greg Myers:

Q. What kind of leader is he?

A. He’s a kid that everyone looks up to like our quarterback, Jay Popson. When we need a vocal leader he’s there. But, he leads by example with his work ethic, focus and drive and his commitment to the game.

Q. What are his strengths as a running back?

A. He is a very physical runner and can put a move on and run away from you. We like to motion him out of the backfield. We have some packages for him and we try and get him into space. He has great hands and is able to catch the ball in space.

Q. Do you use him in the wildcat formation?

A. Yes, in our offense that is all we do. We direct snap to Frank 40% of the time. If we aren’t direct snapping to him we are to our quarterback. You never know whom we are snapping too.

Q. What are his strengths as a linebacker?

A. He has great lateral movement and he is a very powerful and explosive kid. He can play inside the box and does a very great job sideline to sideline.

I think his lateral movement separates him from other kids.
