Hey Berwick fans. You got as far as you did because of a blatant no pass interference call at the end of the Crestwood game. The beat you up and down the field on both sides of the ball.
I had the opportunity to follow Berwick football all year, and although no one on the team made this list, I still feel like two or three players should have at least been considered. It is an honor though for all of the athletes who did make it. If catholic schools have the best players then those players have every right to take up all of the spots. And if no Dawgs were considered, then that says a lot about the program and the type of kids they actually have. They were able to go 14-1 souly on team football. All-State is nice but I feel like having a fantastic and memorable year means more than an all-state team. And enough about “luck.” You have to have some talent to win 14 games and advance to the state semi-final.
Kevin, Wood has 4 players of 34. Hardly 25%. And they beat Berwick by like 30 right? Seem appropriate to me.
What about a punter them and kickers are two totally different players
@ Kevin….because there were no Berwick players good enough to make the team. Yes, I’m a Berwick fan and grad. They were lucky to make it as far as they did.
I have no clue why Berwick fans get a bad rap. Please keep the comments coming! A good laugh always brightens my day.
WHO ARE THESE WRITER,S,THEY NEED TO GET OUT OF THE FOOTBALL BUSINESS AND STICK TO BIRD WATCHING BECAUSE THEY DON,T KNOW JACK THEY ARE A JOKE.
How can you not have any berwick players on that list? Archbishop wood has a quarter of their team on the list. Waste of breath…
Its amazing. Berwick made it all that way without so much as an elite athlete??? Seems like most are either from Catholic schools or freaks of nature. 6-7 highschooler from S Prep? Wow that’s an SEC recruit right there. Who gets to vote on these?
Are you kidding me? This is such a joke.
