Q. What are the key things we should know about your offense?
A. Key points about our offense. Last season we got away from our triple option, which has been our bread and butter because we just didn’t have a true fullback to run it.
This season we are back to it with a number of individuals who meet that need, Elijah McBride (5-11 195 Lb Sr) and Jake Clouse (6-2 230Lb Jr) to name two.
Additionally, we need to improve upon throwing the football. We have great confidence in the abilities of our sophomore QB Thomas Melchiorre to be a double threat.
Senior Tony Cruz will add dimension running and receiving the football.
Q. What are the key things we should know about your defense?
A. Defensively we need to be able to step up and play more constantly. We return nine defensive players with a lot of experience and are banking on them to get the job done.
The defense will be anchored by our two defensive ends, Will Kazura (6-7 225 Sr) and James Thatcher (6-4 230 Sr).
Q. What are the key things we should know about your special teams? Who are your kick and punt returners? Who are your kicker and punter?
A. Special Teams. We have two excellent specialists in punter Jake Clouse (6-2 and placekicker Sam Velez.
