Q. What are the key things we should know about your offense?
We should be going into preseason with an experienced offensive line that is averaging at 250 lbs. Key players on the line will be Jack Heft (returning from injury), grade 11 and Kolten Hainsey has played every position on the offensive line. He will be a senior.
Eric LeVan will be returning to the offensive line, where he started last season as a 9th grader.
Mitch Bradford is returning at quarterback. He will play an important role on the offense.
Q. What are the key things we should know about your defense? Please talk about the players that will impact your defense this year.
A. We are converting from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4 defense. Our players are a better fit for the 3-4. We believe that this will make us better up front to stop the run.
Our key players will be Kolten Hainsey (DT), William Dawson (DE), Bill Scherfel (ILB), and Mitch Bradford (FS).
Q. What are the key things we should know about your special teams? Who are your kick and punt returners? Who are your kicker and punter?
A. We were not very good on special teams last season on coverage or kicking. We need to get better in both areas.
As of now, we are looking at several players in kicking and punting.
