pottsgroveHead Coach Rick Pennypacker Q&A

Q. What are the key things we should know about your offense?

A. We are very young on offense but we have talent. We return two of the best players in the league in Patrick Finn and Michael Fowler but the rest will be talented but inexperienced.

Devon Fink has some experience coming back at running back.

Jale Adams, Chris Defrancesco, Matt Wasniewski and Brandon Drozda will battle for playing time on the offensive line.

Q. What are the key things we should know about your defense?

A. Our defense will need to be rebuilt with only two starters back.  They are corner back Michael Fowler and defensive tackle Patrick Finn.

We have some players who we feel can step in and play but they need experience and snaps so they can get their feet wet.

Two juniors looking to get some playing time are Tyrell Barr at corner back and Madison Kelsey at linebacker.

Q. What are the key things we should know about your special teams? Who are your kick and punt returners? Who are your kicker and punter?

A. Our returners are back and have contributed three touchdowns last year on kick off and punt return.  Our kicker is solid and our punter returns.

One Response

  1. They won’t run the table. But 7 or 8 wins would not surprise me. Pennypacker has a nice program and Pottsgrove always has lots of speedy skill kids. Biggest issue is finding a QB and the linemen.
