Harrisburg, PA – 5/15/2015 -The Big 33 Scholarship Foundation Inc. will hold a press conference to introduce the 2015 Big 33 Honorary Chairman, Vaughn Hebron on Monday, May 18th at Appalachian Brewing Company at 5:45 pm. The Big 33 will also announce two new partnerships with Appalachian Brewing Company and PLDG IT.
Vaughn Hebron will attend the press conference and speak about his role as the Big 33 Honorary Chairman. Hebron is a 1989 Maryland Big 33 Alumnus. He attended Cardinal Gibbons High School and went on to Virginia Tech where he had 481 carries for 2,327 yards and scored 16 touchdowns. He played in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles and Denver Broncos. Hebron won two Super Bowls with the Broncos (XXXII & XXXIII). In his NFL career he recorded 273 carries for 1,137 yards and 7 touchdowns.
“We are pleased to have Vaughn, a former Maryland Big 33 player as our Honorary Chairman. We are looking forward to game week and the events planned leading up to the 58th Big 33 Football Classic,” Big 33 Executive Director, Dave Trimbur said.
The 2015 Big 33 Football Classic showcasing Pennsylvania vs Maryland will be held on Saturday, June 20th at Hershey Park Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:05.

The Big 33 Football Classic is know as “The SuperBowl of High School Football”. It is a game rich in both History and tradition.
