  1. Curry submitted his letter of resignation, correct? I don’t even know why he came back…to help Berwick out of jam? I thought he wasn’t so happy they went with Campbell back then. Anyway, great, great coach. Right up there with Pettine, Roth, etc as the best ever in the state.

That said, why would he, at his advanced age want to put up with today’s youths? Entitled by their parents, many have never heard the word “no” and don’t know what “team” means until they get to a real coach. You’ve got to break them down and get them in the correct frame of mind before you can start building a foundation on them. Don’t get me wrong, there are still some great parents. But the majority today spend their kid’s formative years telling them they’re the next Brady or Watt. It takes A LOT of work to overcome that train wreck.

  2. To bad who ever don’t like curry than stay home.we don’t need you.nobody will ever beat Curry’s record.so get mad what I said its america.if curry don’t come back next year that program will go down hill

  3. Yep, agree. These guys don’t make enough money to have to put up with that kind of abuse.

Does this site do any “where are they now” type stuff? Interested to hear where high profile guys are a couple years out. Example, Dustin Jones – Lake-Lehman. 1st team all-state…went to Wilkes. He didn’t play last year. Did they redshirt him? Same for Scranton’s Karlon Quiller…went from Maine to Bloom. Stuff like that. I realize you can’t do it for all. But both these guys were at one time 1st team all state. (No, I’m not from the Northeast but those 2 guys sprung to mind.)
