  1. As a parkland fan will say Stover was a dang good QB. Kid was a playmaker. Dandre Swift maybe best player in the state of PA, not sure how he is not on the list as stated below. I mean popularity contest or not watch some film. He has the offers he does for a reason. He is better than any of the 4 RB even on the list. Dotson from Naz is a STUD for a soph.

  2. Apologies if this offends but seriously, 4 QBs and 5 RBs make first team all state? 11 people on the field and 20 make first team all state? Wow. Its not as bad as Girls Field Hockey where with 11 starters its not uncommon for 40 girls to make first team all state. Still make a choice. How is Wesneski even close to Angeline at TE? But OK, if he’s better, he should make it and not Angeline. Pick one for goodness sake. At this level winning matters. No participation trophies. Also here’s another perspective, if you’re going to make it participation trophies like field hockey why limit the OL to 5? QBs and RBs are quite literally NOTHING without the OL.

  3. Phil Jurkovec is an awesome QB. I think he will be the biggest recruit out of PA since Terrel Pryor was the #1 Rated Prospect. This kid can do it from the pocket as well as with his legs. He is also a freakish athlete, he avg. 20+ points as a Fresh. last year in basketball. He is known for highlight reel dunks. At 6’4 the kid will grow a little more as well, he already holds offers from Notre Dame, FSU, So. Cal etc. all the kids on this list were Top Flight, sure some great QB’s had to be left off and that’s a shame. Overall I think they did a nice job. Should be fun in years to come watching the Jurkovec kid and some of the other younger QB’s who will surely surface, as always in PA!

  4. This team is an evaluation of the best players for the year of 2015. Its not who is going to which Division 1 school. The PA Writers did an awesome job, and did it the right way unlike a lot of other teams that are selected. I’m not familiar with all of the QBs but I’m sure they’re real good if they beat Stover out.

  5. Pretty hard to believe that not one player from Upper Dublin’s AAAA State Semifinalist team did not make the cut. HARDER to believe that Ryan Stover is not one of the top 4 AAAA quarterbacks in the state.
