2016 Offensive outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on offense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

We will be running a brand new offense this year to help out our defense and control the clock. A new system takes time to develop however, these players have all bought into the new system and have been learning it and reviewing it daily since April. Our offensive line will be the heart of our offense as they all have 2 or more years varsity experience and have been putting up good numbers in the weight room.

2016 Defensive Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on defense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

Also running a brand new defense this year. We will not sit in our normal 3-4 like we have done in years past. We need to find a way to utilize our strength and size more this year rather then our speed. We will be focusing more defensively and getting back to basics and adopting the attitude that “Defense matters”

2016 Special Teams Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on special teams. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

SR. Kicker/Punter Brad hook returns again this year. After a whole year under his belt he has gained more knowledge and more leg strength. He is learning on how placing the ball on kick-offs is crucial for our defense. His leg strength has improved and should be pretty accurate from 40 and in. Having an improved kicker is a huge weapon in high school.

JR. Mike Wilkinson will be back returning kicks and punts again. His speed and elusiveness makes him hard to tackle. He has great vision when he has the ball in the open field.
