2016 Outlook: Please let us know the keys about your team on offense, defense and special teams. What are your keys to having a successful year?

We have a lot of guys competing for positions. It’s been a good off-season.

Offense: Nasir Boykin is our leader and we need to settle in up front. We lost three D-1 lineman from last years team. We got some young guys who have shown us they are ready to play on the line this year. But we are extremely young on the line. Our center Brashon McRae is our leader on the line and will help the young players.

Boykin didn’t run much last year, but he’s really fast and will use his legs as weapons. He has a strong arm and can throw on the run. Chris Wells and Amir Lewis will lead the running attack. Isheem Young is another threat at running back.

Defense: Our strength is our secondary. Now that Isheem is back and playing his normal position, it allows Mike Crawford to play his natural corner position.

Our four linebackers are fast and can tackle. Amin Black and Rashidi Santos are a few of guys to watch. The defensive line is big and physical.

We are young but are talented and we have speed and size. We are going to line up and attack the ball.
