2016 Offensive outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on offense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

We will be replacing a senior class of 16 young men who were all contributors in some way. We will replace our leading rusher, passer and receiver on offense. A lot of young players will be asked to fill those voids. Brendan Shaffer will be asked to tote the mail on offense, while Junior Aiden Klassen and Sophomore Ryan Kutz compete for the starting QB spot. The Falcons will also be replacing 3 offensive linemen. Our success will depend on the development of young players. We will look to continue our tradition of having a ball control offense by utilizing a strong power running game and using a quick passing game to get the ball to a variety of small, but talented WR’s.

2016 Defensive Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on defense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

The Falcons return numerous starters on Defense. The strength of the defense should be at the 3rd level as the Falcons return 3 defensive backs that all started as sophomores. Also returning is the Falcons leading tackler from last year Hunter Harnish (87) at LB. On the first level the Falcons will be replacing 2 major contributors from last years team but they will be replaced by talented sophomores like Will Bowen. The key for the falcons will be continuing to play disciplined, bend-but-don’t-break defense.

2016 Special Teams Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on special teams. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

We lose our FG kicker and punter from the last two years, but replace them both with talented players. Sr. Clyde Tamburro who kicked off last year will assume all place-kicking duties, while Sophomore Ryan Kutz will take over the punting duties.
