2016 Offensive outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on offense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)
We have a great challenge on the offensive side of the ball in replacing a number of key starters due to graduation, injury, or ineligibility. That being said, we are extremely confident in other young men stepping forward and taking the reigns. We have competitions at every position. The boys have stepped up and worked extremely diligently to better themselves over the offseason. It should make for a very worthwhile preseason.
Our season will go as far as the offensive line takes us. It begins and ends up front. We have a number of athletes competing for all spots and look forward to pushing their development.
At the skill positions we are very lucky to have two quarterbacks with starting experience from last season. Additionally our backs should remain a strong point with individuals who have started every game last season on defense stepping into those roles. At the wide receiver position we look for competition in camp to allow the best to rise to the top of the charts.
2016 Defensive Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on defense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)
We return a great deal of our defense from last season. We lose some very important starters, but individuals are working very hard to fill those open spots. Our defensive will continue its aggressive attack style and hope to force opponents’ hands.
2016 Special Teams Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on special teams. What are your keys to having a successful year?)
Special teams are an area of strength for our team this year as we return both our kicker and punter. Both have worked on their craft and are looking forward to the season. Additionally, with so many athletes competing for playing time of the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, we believe that depth will give us a distinct advantage in the area of special teams.
