2016 Offensive outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on offense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)
We must be consistent on offense at moving the chains and putting together successive positive plays. We will score, but we must score using some clock as well. Offensive line must be consistent and reduce penalties.
2016 Defensive Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on defense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)
We must stop the run. Our strength should be defending the pass and rushing the passer. Pressure both on run downs as well as passing downs will be the key. Mitchell and Evans must play the vast majority of the snaps. They have an opportunity at a special season.
2016 Special Teams Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on special teams. What are your keys to having a successful year?)
Williams has a strong leg. He must continue to work on accuracy, and his mental toughness. Need to consistently put kickoffs into the end zone to force teams to go 80 yards on our defense. No short fields in either phase of our kicking game and our return game needs to find a replacement for Cioti, the conference’s special teams player of the year for three consecutive years.
