D1 (FBS & FCS) Prospects:  Ken Cooper, Derien Yeager, Jared Mowery, Preston Fausnaught, Gannon Feldmann

Key Team Stats: Two 1.000 yard rushers last season

2017 Outlook:

Offense: We have a very athletic group returning but we will have to replace almost 1,300 yards and 15 TD’s from the loss of Trent Hilkert but I think we have several kids that can step in and fill the void. I also think with Peyton having the year experience under his belt and the strides he has made in throwing the ball and reading defenses this summer will pay off for us this year.

Defense: This group may be on par with the best I have had here. We have a very athletic front 8 and are pretty strong in the secondary a well. I believe we will be much deeper on the defensive side of the ball which will help us to be able to stay aggressive on that side of the ball. Ken Cooper is a kid that I think will have a very strong season  form the MLB spot and Preston Fausnaught has the potential to break every sack record here.

Special Team: Very solid with Peyton Riley as our specialist on both placekicking and punting and this year we have very solid back ups in Jared Mowery and Kayden Riley at punter and Kayden Riley as the place kicking back up

  1. Looking for a Big Season from the Ironmen. Should make a nice run at States if they can get out of a Strong District 4.
