2023 Outlook:
• We had a large Senior class-We lost a lot of great players
• 33 players-increase from last year should help with competition for many open positions
• Excited about new group of players who came out
• Solid numbers for our Summer workouts-Hard work, good attitudes
• Overall, I would describe us as Athletic but Young & Inexperienced
• New faces on our staff-Good rapport established in the off-season
Offense:
• Loss of Madden Locke will be a major impact-Zeisloft will be the workhorse
• Development of Brosious @ QB will be a key to our success
• We expect more consistent play from our OL-Bigger than in previous years
• Mistakes need to be minimized
Defense:
• Major losses @ LB and Secondary
• DL will need to anchor the defense
• Zeisloft will be the ILB and needs to be the run stopper
Special Teams: Zeisloft returns as the punter. We need a Kicker. We hope one will emerge in the pre-season. We should have a good group of returners, including Leiby, Rosini, Reibsome, and Horan.
