West Catholic:
West Catholic started the season off with a 0-3 record, losing to Roman Catholic, Archbishop Wood and LaSalle College. Wood and LaSalle are in the AAA and AAAA Eastern Finals. Since then they have won ten in a row and are looking to make it 12 in a row.
The Burrs offense starts at running back. All-State runner David Williams leads the charge. The junior running back leads West Catholic with 1,879 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns.
The second leading rusher is quarterback Jaleel Reed who has rushed for 551 yards and passed for 695 yards. The Burrs as a team have rushed for 3,284 yards.
Lancaster Catholic:
Lancaster Catholic is led by quarterback Andrew Dzurik who has passed for 1,756 yards and 15 touchdowns.
When Dzuik isn’t passing he is handing off to two 1,000 yard backs. Roman Clay leads the way with 1,591 yards on 139 carries and 29 touchdowns. His counter point Brandon Hollister has rushed for 1,441 yards and 24 scores.
Charles Sweigert leads the receivers with 39 catches for 831 yards and 5 scores. Sean Titus adds balance to the passing game with 732 yards and 30 catches.
The Crusaders as a team have rushed for 3,935 yards and passed for 2,141 yards.
Final Thoughts:
This will be the third time these two teams have met. In 2008 West Catholic won 37-14 and in 2009 Lancaster Catholic won 23-21.
So who will win the rubber match?
With the rumors of West Catholic school closing the doors and Lancaster Catholic moving up to AAA next year, this could be the last hurrah for one of these teams in the state finals in AA.

@Pen Argyl fan
HAHAHAHAHAHA, You can’t cry about refs when you get blown out! Had it been a close game perhaps the refs could have steered the game one way or the other. 32-7? C’mon that’s some really sour grapes. I just bought a box of tissue, I will Fed-Ex it to you ASAP.

Two years ago, LC had zero calls against them in this game on this field. I don’t see officiating being a problem. WC will not lose in this rematch! WC 35 LC 20

If the refs are on their side and paid by west catholic like they were last week, WC by 20. In a fair game with good officiating, Lancaster by 10.
