2023 Returning Player Stats:

2023 Offensive Outlook: Losing eight starters, three of whom were 4-year starters, is tough. Offensively, our entire backfield is new. Our offensive line is pretty much intact with the addition of 2 new starters. We will need to win the battle at the line of scrimmage in order to establish a running game which will hopefully open up our passing game. We will need to rely on our experienced WR crew in order to generate yards and points through our passing game. How well our young team responds to our new group of senior leaders will be key to our success.

2023 Defensive Outlook: Our defensive line has the most experience of any defensive group. New faces in the linebackers and defensive backs will be tested early in the season. MLB, Kash Tobin, will make the calls from the middle again this season. Layne Yoder will be called upon to face our opponents’ top receivers. Our defensive line will be the key to how well we defend the run and pass. Our defense will not be big in size; however, we should be super quick to the ball again this year. Limiting big plays will be a key to success.

2023 Special Teams Outlook: Kicker/ Punter Chase Stephens returns after a great JR season. Noah Porter will be returning kickoffs again this season after a successful season last year.
