Open to all levels and QB’s from grades 3 & up. The goal of the camp is to provide athletes with the tools to succeed and take their teams to the next level. You will work on skills for becoming the best QB you can become. You will be pushed! You will compete! You will lead! You will increase your speed, footwork, release, drop, toughness, and leadership skills. Camp will also provide speed instruction. Each session will have 1 hour of speed specific training by certified trainers.
When: (1) Sunday 3/18, (2) Sunday 3/25, (3) Sunday 4/1 (4) Sunday 4/15, (5) Sunday 4/22, (6) Sunday 4/29, (7) Sunday 5/6, (8) Sunday 5/13 Time: 1pm-3pm
Where:The Competitive Edge Sports Complex – Bloomsburg
Directions: From Bloomsburg-Turn Right off Rt. 11 near Sheetz toward Old Berwick Road, turn left at the small sign labeled Competitive Edge, building is at the end of the lane.
Who: One of the leading Quarterback coaches in the area, Jeremy Winn has coached numerous college QB’s. His QB’s have attended many colleges from Division I, II and III. He has instructed QB’s at multiple camps throughout the east coast.
Why: The top area Quarterbacks will be in attendance to make each other get better through competition. With top-level instruction that has led to QB’s attending Division I, IAA, II, and III you will learn what it takes to be the best. Multiple training drills and skills improvement will take place at every session. Through video analysis, you will be analyzed and critiqued on your ability, technique, and form. There will be a speed session that will provide you the skills to become a faster athlete.
How: Typical day: 45-60 minutes of speed instruction, 45-60 minutes of QB instruction, and/or 15-30 minutes of throwing to WR’s. Many drills regarding footwork, arm speed, and technique will be addressed in a variety of ways. Speed training will involve training from certified trainers that will enhance quickness and speed.
