Coaches comments: This past season was Daiyaan’s first year as a starter at corner. He quickly moved up our depth chart, gained the respect of opposing teams, and as the season progressed we counted on him on a weekly basis to cover the opposing team’s best receivers. He is a sure tackler, tough, and a fierce competitor. During the offseason he has been a leader by example with his consistency in the weight room. I suspect he will also contribute more to our team this year on offense as well.
