The sophomore at Valley Forge Military College signed a letter of intent to continue playing football at North Carolina State. Cadet Johnson quarterbacked VFMA to the 2007 Seaboard Conference championship, and was named the school’s offensive player of the year.

Cadet Johnson was also a first team all-Seaboard Conference selection at quarterback. VFMA landed 13 players on the all-conference team, 8 of which, including Johnson, made the first team.

VFMA, located in Wayne, has produced 27 Division 1 or 1-AA football products, and sent 14 others to the NFL ranks, including the Arizona Cardinals’ WR Larry Fitzgerald and the Seattle Seahawks’ LOLB Julian Peterson.
