  1. @ Skat

I don’t know. Am thinking Downingtown East might be for real this year. Neshaminy is strong too. LaSalle could get beaten by Easton even before the eastern final. Downingtown has some division 1 players and a strong program. They won the state title in 1996. In a given year they can bring it. We’ll see.

  2. High School is so funny, you look at the rankings and it’s the usual suspects in most every class. I watch AAA & AAAA mostly. I think it’ll be very hard for anyone in AAAA East to beat LaSalle College HS. They have a nice balance…run and pass and size. What else is new?!?! It’s funny because if Easton would win the subregional and meet LaSalle they’d be playing the 3rd time in 4 years. Possibly could see a 4th straight year of LaSalle-NP in the East finals?!?!? Hahahaha…different year and possibly the same song and dances.

  3. @jiveturkey; I simply pointed out that you don’t have an original thought, sorry if you were offended. Glad you’re a Roman fan though; nice team, I wish Coach McCourt well!

  4. Really Harrisburg an honorable mention and you keep Wilson ranked 10th in quad A. Harrisburg’s loss was by one point to your AAA Fist place team McDevitt. A game they really could have won. Then the next week McDevitt comes out and beats CD your number 5 team and Harrisburg beats your number 10 team. I think Harrisburg is a lot better team than anybody is giving them credit for. I’m a Cumberland Valley fan and the team I would most fear right now Is Harrisburg. They have a phenomenal defense and lots of speed on both sides of the ball. I know harrisburg’s offence is coming along and special teams are questionable but the defense will keep them in all the games this year. Lets face it Wilson has a big question mark of their own right now in a quarter back. Harrisburg is my pick for the biggest wild card for district 3 at this point. I guess time will tell and you see something I don’t.

  5. @olcoach
I hope you have dried out from your night of reporting. Well it appears you have some kind of fetish with Buddy and I, but I guess that’s a story for another day. Do you realize how you look for an argument on every message board? You contradict yourself with every post, depending on who you’re talking to, and which side of the fence you wish to be on at that moment. I would love to know where you coach. No high school team would have you, so I’m thinking pound ball, probably NESAC. See ya Saturday at SCH.

  6. @jiveturkey, yes, was at the NP – AW game. In fact, I know NP, AW and RC very well; see, you read something on a message board and you assumed I’m a PPL guy. Incorrect as we all could have guessed.

I’m glad you read Fuller’s name on a message board; he’s a nice player. If you think Keir is the best QB in D12; well, that’s just humorous and shows exactly what you know. There are 3 PCL and 1 PPL QBs I’d take over Keir; he’s a nice player but not the best in D12. Kelly is unproven; we’ll see if he can fill his brother’s shoes as a lead ballcarrier.

I still don’t think you know much at all but hey, the internet is filled with self proclaimed geniuses who read message boards.

  7. @ edsel… Imhotep would mercy most of the top AA teams? First off the first two teams they play are not bad but their not tops in any Division they play in… you should let the season be halfway over before you say such things…they are good snd all but winning gold isnt easy and bad games where things just dont click happen… my cash is on mount carmel… their loss this yr reg. Season maybe to a juggernaut cteam called southern columbia who will make it to the eastern final!!!!

  8. @olcoach,
Did you watch the Wood game or are you reading box scores? NP had 3 yds because they fumbled 2 kickoffs and barely had the ball. In the 2nd half NP dominated Wood. DOMINATED! Have you seen Roman? Best WR in D12, best QB in D12, one of the top RB’s in D12, as a soph. Stay away from them Pub games, they are rotting your brain.

  9. Imhotep Charter would mercy rule most of the AA top ten. I believe they will win gold. I also believe Wood in AAA will win gold. I am not happy to believe this about both teams.

  10. @jiveturkey, do you just read message boards and scores or do you actually see teams play ball? I’m thinking the former.

DTE in top 6 is just about right; not sure where you got that Roman is some powerhouse, they’re a good team, that’s about it. They’ll likely be 3rd or 4th in the PCL AAAA.

If you think Wood didn’t “show” against NP, you’re mistaken. NP had 3 yards in the first half; some freakish turnovers killed Wood but it you think they got “hosed”, you are clearly wrong.

CD was missing the heart of their team; does this mean the team isn’t strong? No, just means, for one game, they were down. Same thing would have happened to any ranked team if you take their top 2 players out.

Imhotep at 8 is much too low; this team is a power and a strong contender for it all. They are definitely underrated here.

  11. @JiveTurkey,

CD played without Drew Scales & Co-POY last year Zayd Isaah for violating team rules. Not saying CD wins with both guys but they are their two most dynamic playmakers…

Funk is good at what he does…trust me

  12. I really don’t think Riverside will last too long in A. Dunmore and OF are solid.

Wyoming Area has a favorable schedule from here on out so 9-1 might propel them into the top ten

Berwick has a legit shot at going undefeated and finish top 5

  13. AAA Franklin Regional #4 lost to Mars. Then Mars wins 56-0 and is an honorable mention. Wood #3 beats a terrible Bensalem team and then gets housed by north Penn. AAAA Downingtown East #5 kills Roman, possible D12 rep in states, and is behind Central Dauphin #5 who just got smoked by a AAA team. Are these this seasons rankings or last seasons reputation?

  14. really? selinsgrove in honorable mention? why cuz they barely beat an injured mifflinburg team 3-0 and then beat trinity a AA team by like 3 points?
