Can you believe it’s been fifteen years since a District 2 team has won the state championship in football? Hard to believe but it’s true. The Berwick Bulldogs knocked off the Commodores of Perry Traditional Academy in Pittsburgh by a score of 17-14 en route to their sixth PIAA title in 1997.
