Coatesville is going to DESTROY Downingtown West Friday Evening in DT and keep the momentum rolling into the District 1 playoffs. Keep an eye on the explosive Red Raiders in the offs as the showcase one of the areas top passing attacks led by Sr standout QB Emmett Hunt 71/110 1665 yards 24 TD passes 0 interceptions…top threats Chris Jones leads southeastern PA with 775 yards & 12 TDs on 29.7 per strike & Do it all athlete Dre Boggs 430 yards 8 TDs 20.1/ catch… as well as at least 4 on the ground many of them 50 + yards…Jr Lb Tyler Burke is one of the top LBs in 14 class & he leads a very solid CV defense giving up a stingy 11 ppg
Actually, your points are only affected by what teams that you’ve beaten do – when they win you get more points. When you lose to a team you get zero points – period.
@RidleyGrad
How right-on you are in your recent post. I was about to write just about the same comment, but didn’t. This week Abington plays Neshaminy; and Coatesville plays D’Town West; also Perk Valley has 8-0 Pottsgrove to play. I see a shakeup in the standings and one or two new teams possibly entering in low playoff positions.
Besides Brian. Ridley, Penn Manor and Scranton are all undefeated. Pennridge has 1 loss which is to a team that is 2-6 on the year. Once you loss a game, your points get affected by the way the team that beats you performs. Unfortunately, for Pennridge even though it was an overtime loss it still hurts. Look at it this way, you guys are still ranked 3rd in the playoff bracket at this point so you will be in good position to prove your team’s abilities in a couple of weeks. Currently that would be against Neshaminy who is 14.
Brian,
Did you read the top parargraph of the state rankings posting? Obviously not. HM teams are arranged in order by geographic district, beginning with 1, then 2, 3, and so on. Within each particular region in HM, teams are arranged in ALPHABETICAL ORDER so to eliminate any perception of bias from you, the reader. HM has nothing whatsoever to do with ranking order. It’s not that CB South is better than Pennridge – it’s simply that “C” comes before “P” in the alphabet. Please take your “you give us no credit” line elsewhere. Thanks.
Come on, how can CB South, Downingtown West, Wilson, Ridley, Penn Manor & Scranton be ranked ahead of Pennridge? You guys have not given Pennridge any credit all year! That’s fine, I hope Pennridge proves all of you wrong along with with Cooney & Co. at the Intel.
