Behind a strong second half, Dunmore prevailed in going away fashion over Bristol 34-12 as the Bucks scored the game’s final 27 points in the final twenty-four minutes.

Dunmore (13-1) will meet Bellwood-Antis next week in the Class A Eastern Championship.

Not even two minutes into the contest, Austin Seamon scampered 7 yards for the contest’s first points (7-0). Then later in the first quarter, Bristol answered on a 38-yard touchdown strike from Trevor Leone to Tyler Kelly to inch within one point (7-6). Dunmore’s special teams blocked the extra point attempt.

In the period #2, Willie Sutton dove in from a yard away to give the Warriors’ a 12-7 lead heading into the intermission. In the first twenty-four minutes, Bristol outgained the Bucks by almost 100 yards of total offense.

The secod half; however, proved to be Dunmore’s showcase. Seamon scored twice, as did, Daiquan Buckley as the Bucks rolled to a 34-12 victory.

Austin Seamon has scored 10 touchdowns over the last five weeks. Buckley has added 17 scores in his last nine contests.

Bristol’s nine game win streak was snapped tonight as their season comes to a close with a 9-2 mark.

  1. Dunmore plays Bellwood-Antis at Central Mountain HS in Mill Hall PA on Friday, 12/7.

It’s essentially a home game for Bellwood-Antis because like Central Mountain, Bellwood-Antis is from PIAA District 6 and Bellwood’s trip is about 60 miles where Dunmore’s is about 130 miles.

Hopefully Dunmore comes down there the day before. Henzes has been there before. He’ll know what to do.
