  1. Good morning David. This is Gerry Yonchiuk. I am the head football coach at Lebanon High School. I appreciate you getting back to me. happy holidays to you and your family. I am submitting two student athletes from our football program. I first would like to say thanks as you had two of my previous FB players on your team in the past. QB James Capello and WR Jordan Clentimack. This year we have two outstanding Juniors. 1st is Junior Mark Pyles. Mark is 6’0″ 200. He played defensive back and QB. Mark has started on defense since his freshman year. He was selected as one of the top 50 sophomores in Pa this past season by the Pa State Football Coaches Association. Mark was a 1st team all county and all league defensive back in the Lancaster Lebanon League. For the season Mark had 121 total tackles. This was tops out of the three sections of the LL-League. He had 71 solo tackles 45 assisted tackles 1-sack 2 pass deflections and 4 tackles for a loss. He is also the QB in our Air Raid attack. Mark is currently being recruited to play at Penn State, Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri and others. He has been interviewed twice by blue & white illustrated and has Penn State at the top of his list. He is also number 1 academically in his class with a 4.4 GPA. He is a person of tremendous character. Mark was a team captain as a junior.he is a three sport athlete and was also the baseball captain as a sophomore last spring. He truly is a special person and athlete. The 2nd FB player is Jeremy De la cruz. Jeremy is also a junior. He is 5’9″ 165. he has tremendous quickness and speed. For the season Jeremy had 60 receptions for 618 yards and 2 td’s. He also had 359 yards rushing and 3 td’s. He returned punts and kickoffs and is an outstanding cover corner as well. Thank you for your
    consideration! Gerry Yonchiuk
