  1. Rankings aren’t really important this time of the year. Starting week 11 we will see a lot of top ranked teams going down. As far as Berwick soft schedule, it is weak except for one team, Wyoming Valley West who were beaten 42-28. I will be one of few people who predict WVW will win d2/d11 AAAA regional. don’t think Lehigh Valley is as strong as recent years,

  2. @ Rollie,

I don’t get it either. EasternPA has had GV at #10 for weeks, while they have had tougher schedules than Coatesville & Neshaminy.

  3. Wow! George Curry must have some real cache to get Berwick ranked ahead of AAAA teams in tough districts like Wilson (D3) and Garnet Valley (D1). Berwick is 9-0 with only 3 of those wins over teams with winning records in lowly District 2. Their last game is against Hazleton and their 3-6 record. No strength of schedule argument to be found there.

Conversely Garnet Valley is 9-0 with 5 wins over teams with winning records. Garnet Valley’s last game is against Conestoga (AAAA, 6-3 record). Now that’s called running a gauntlet. Heck, Wilson is 9-0 with 4 wins over teams with winning records.

It’s literally a travesty for Berwick to be ranked ahead of Garnet Valley.

How many votes does Kastreva get? 😉
