Q. What are the key things we should know about your offense?
A. The keys to our offense this upcoming season will be the returning skill players. We only graduated one skill player.
Returning starters will be quarterback Steven Shannon, running back Danny Koch, wide receiver Lewis Williams, wide receiver Austin Farver, wide receiver Eli Petersheim, wide receiver Zach Boyd.
We also return three starters on the offensive line in Thomas Yerkes, Justin Scatena and Matt Chamberlain.
Q. What are the key things we should know about your defense? Please talk about the players that will impact your defense this year?
A. On defense we have some holes to fill but our secondary should be strong. We replace most of the front four and only return two linebackers.
Frankie Tewell at inside linebacker should have a great season.
Danny Koch and Eli Petersheim give us two big physical cornerbacks.
Q. What are the key things we should know about your special teams? Who are your kick and punt returners? Who are your kicker and punter?
A. We are excited to be getting some players from the soccer team to do the kicking duties for us this season.
It was a major weak point last year and these guys have worked hard this summer.
I believe special teams will become a strength for us this year.
