It’s no secret that in the past several years Ohio State Head Coach Jim Tressel has turn Western PA into his own little recruiting central and now Tressel is moving eastward and landed one the most sought after recruits in the state in Sr RB and DB Corey Brown according the Delaware County Daily Times Staff Writer John Lohn Brown made the verbal commitment following a Saturday night visit to Columbus to take the Buckeyes 18-15 lost to USC .
Brown busted on the recruiting scene following a break out Sophomore season in which he rushed for 1017 yards on 182 yards and 9 touchdowns to go along with 226 yards on 15 catches and another four touchdowns. So far this season Brown has rushed 37 times for 271 yards and three touchdowns to go with seven receptions for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns
Brown had over 40 scholarship offers and had chose the Buckeyes over Miami, West Virginia, Rutgers and Pittsburgh.
