After back-to-back losses to Central Dauphin and State College, the Cougars ripped off six wins and a trip to Hershey. The convincing win over West Allegheny made their first title appearance memorable.
“This was a very special season,” said Everett. “It was historic! It was possible because we had a great group of young men that fought every week and trusted the process. I also have such an amazing group of coaches that did an excellent job, consistently.”
With all this excitement huge crowds from the city started to follow the Cougars through their path to Chocolate town.
“This football season did something special by bringing the CITY together and giving everyone something to be proud of and cheer for.”
