Millersburg
Jimmy Young’s two interceptions setup Nolan Allman’s two touchdown scores. Millersburg defeated Upper Dauphin 15-12 in the Distict 3A championship game. This was their eighth win in a row and their first District 3A football title.
Allman had 67 yards rushing on three carries. Andy Acker added 33 yards rushing. He returned one score on a fumble. He rushed for another that went 36 yards for the score.
Millersburg (10-3) plays Bishop McCort (12-0).

Down 20-13 late in the third quarter, McCort quarterback John Pinkerton fumbled the ball. It was picked up by his teammate running back Chaz Merriman who ran to the Bellwood-Antis 11. Three plays later Josh Seidel went in for the two-yard score to tie the game up at 20.
That would be the theme in the fourth quarter for Bellwood-Antis. Bellwood-Antis would fumble on each of its next two possessions. McCort would score on the two turnovers and pull away for the 34-20 Class A championship game. This is the fourth consecutive District 6 Class A titles.
Josh Seidel rushed for 203 yards on 29 carries and three touchdowns. All three touchdowns came in the fourth quarter. He had touchdown runs of 2, 17 and 13 yards.
Quarterback Pinkerton passed for 52 yards and rushed for 17 yards.
Bishop McCort (12-0) plays Millersburg (10-3).
Tri-Valley
Tri-Valley jumped out to a three-touchdown lead and held off a late charge by St. Pius X to win 27-14 in the PIAA Class A first-round game.
Wyatt Straub rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns. Tanner Troutman caught two touchdown passes from Matt McGinley.
McGinley completed 10 of 16 passes for 91 yards.
Tri-Valley (9-4) plays Southern Columbia (9-4).
Southern Columbia
Southern Columbia played in their 45th state playoff game and scored three touchdowns off turnovers and four touchdowns from field possessions of 21 yards or less. The Tigers went on to crush Northwest Area 60-7 in the first round of the PIAA Class A playoffs.
Jake Morton rushed for 97 yards on 13 carries and Tyler Levan rushed for 73 yards on 10 carries. Both scored three touchdowns.
The Tigers rushed for 343 yards on the ground.
