2017 Offensive Outlook: The key to success for the offense will be consistency and balance. There will be an experienced offensive line. Anchored by Sr. Mark Anastasi and Sr. Dom Hipple that will work to establish the run game and the LOS. A few new skilled guys and a new QB will make an immediate impact on the offensive side of the ball and its pass game. If the young and new guys catch up to the varsity speed and it can be combined with the speed of Sr. returning RB Michael Welde the offense will be a position to be successful.
2017 Defensive Outlook: As simple as it sounds, a good defense is one that can tackle well. One of the emphasis throughout the summer and into camp for the defense will be tackling. The new Defensive Coordinator, C.J. Szydlik has done a fantastic job getting the players ready. The defense will be lead by Sr. DT Alec Leyferman and Sr. ILB Jason Walter. Both players can have an impact on the maturation process of the young players that will need to step into roles voided by 2016 seniors.
2017 Special Teams Outlook: Cover all kicks! Kick all extra points/fgs and SCORE!
