2017 Outlook:
Offense: The Offensive line will be a more cohesive unit from a year ago. With the addition of Aaron Bolinsky a transfer from Blue Mountain will strengthen our unit up front. Doug Weist will return as quarterback that will run a pro set offense. Doug improved his arm strength and has developed necessary skills for his position. Mitchell Wagner returns as a running back with great speed and strength. He will have two guys leading the way for him with Eldson and Green. Wide receivers we have added depth with good possession receivers and speed.
Defense: Defensive side of the football we return a number of individuals. With experience comes a better understanding of the scheme we are to employ. We are looking for a faster defense in 2017 with four of our down guys returning in, Geary, Green, Lipshaw, and Kempsey. We like to build a rotation up front and with the addition of Bolinsky that will certainly help. Tyler Eldson will be moving to a linebacker where last year he played Defensive End. The secondary we will also have some experience with Brandon Rockwell looking at his third year as a starter.
Special Team: Key is consistent kicking.
