Jonathan Gaglione’s 27 yard field goal in the 4th quarter paced the Milford Buccaneers to a 3-0 win over the Ravens of Sussex Tech.
2 touchdown runs of 22 and 32 yards by Brooks Parker, Te Shawn Dennard’s 15 yard run and Trey Parson’s 2 yard run paced the Delmar Wildcats to a 41-9 win over Smithberg of MD.
Chad Jones 3 touchdown passes of 2 yards to Nai Zaire Miller and 27 and 73 yards to Leroy Lynch paced the Tigers of AI DuPont to a 28-21 win over the Panthers of Polytech. Also for the Tigers, Thomas Mosley scored on a 1 yard run.
The Panthers were led by QB Chris Tascione as he ran for a touchdown run of 1 yard and threw a 33 yarder to Tucker Reed, and Reed scored on a 67 yard kickoff return.
Zack Cammilli’s 2 touchdown runs of 2 and 1 yard each and threw touchdown passes of 36 yards to Lawrence Brown, 6 yards to JaTier Berkeley Osborne and 29 yards to Samuel Monning paced the Red Wolves of Conrad to a 34-6 win over the Christiana Vikings.
The McKean Highlanders opened the 2017 season with a 22-14 win over the Tatnall Hornets. Keyhon Davis threw for three touchdowns and ran for a two point conversion to lead the Highlanders (1-0) to a win over Tatnall (0-1). DeVon Taylor Jr. had 85 yards receiving and 2 touchdown for the Highlanders. Freshman Khalied Pruden put the Highlander’s up for good with his first varsity touchdown catch. Tatnall senior Jared Duncan led the way for the Hornets rushing for both Tatnall touchdowns.
Joe DiGregorio passed for 188 yds and 3 TDs and rushed for another TD paced the Auks of Archmere to a 36-30 win over the Senators of Dover High School .
Connor Ruggieri rushed 9 times for 49 yds and had 83 yds receiving and a TD.
Mitch Moyer had 7 unassisted tackles and 2 sacks.
Anthony Soscia had 7 unassisted tackles.
