WR/DB Ryan Keiser, Selinsgrove
During Ryan Keiser’s career, he has been named all-state both on offense and defense. He always seems to make the big plays in the big games. Against Allentown Central Catholic he caught seven passes for 154 yards and one score. The next game against Archbishop Wood he caught six passes for 150 yards and two scores.
In the state finals, Keiser’s interception set up the game winning drive for the Seals. Keiser would catch two passes during the drive, both for first downs.
Quarterback Cory Briggs threw for 2,192 yards and 30 touchdowns this season. Most of them went to Keiser. They were one of the best catch-pass tandems in the state. Keiser caught 61 passes for 1,144 yards and 16 touchdowns. He averaged 18.75 yards per catch. Keiser is ranked second in career and season interceptions. Keiser has 13 career interceptions.
Keiser will be a preferred walk-on for Penn State next fall.
