Maxwell Football Club launches new website

The Maxwell Football Club has launched a new website which can be viewed at www.maxwellfootballclub.org.

The website contains a historical background of the Club which was founded in 1935 and is the oldest football club of its kind in America. There is information on past winners of the Club’s college and professional award winners and also background on the Club’s high school awards and community involvement projects.

The website will be updated weekly with news, information on special events and programs and membership information. Photos of past award winners and the Maxwell Club’s National Awards dinner are available on the website. In addition MFC members will be able to renew memberships on line and also vote in the Club’s College and Professional Awards balloting this fall. The website also features an online store with MFC apparel and limited edition lithographs.

The Maxwell Football Club is an organization that is dedicated to promoting football at all levels from youth leagues through the professional ranks. The Maxwell Football Club is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is under the direction of Club President Ron Jaworski. The Club has open membership and any interested individual can become a member by visiting the Club’s website or by calling the MFC office at 215-643-3833.

Member benefits include weekly e-newsletter updates on both college and professional football, access to the member’s only area of the website, voting privileges for the Maxwell Award (Collegiate Player of the Year), Chuck Bednarik Award (Collegiate Defensive Player of the Year), Bert Bell Award (Professional Player of the Year) and Greasy Neale Award (Professional Coach of the Year). Club members also receive invitations to MFC special events such as the MFC National Awards Dinner that is held each March.
