April 14 Breakfast at Cairn University Will Feature Super Bowl Champ
PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—Philadelphia Eagles fans are still flying high after the Super Bowl win in early February. Several players from the championship team have ties to theFellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA, www.fca.org), and one will be a part of an FCAbreakfast near Philadelphia next month.
Wisniewski, a Penn State standout, started 14 games for the 2017 champs. His run and pass blocking helped the Eagles to finish with the third most prolific offense in the NFL. Wisniewski was a member of the 2011 NFL All-Rookie team as an Oakland Raider, the team who drafted him in the second round.
There will be a silent auction and a trivia contest at the FCA breakfast. Wisniewski will be joined on the podium by two local standouts—Kerry Phillips, an all-conference soccer goalkeeper for Pennsbury, and Oliver Jervis, an FCS football commit from Pennridge.

“Our society has a fascination with the world of sports,” said FCA Bucks County Area Director Scott Leuz. “FCA believes that Christian coaches and athletes have a unique platform and can take advantage of the attention they receive. At events like this upcoming breakfast, FCA gives Christian professional athletes like Stefen Wisniewski opportunities to use their influence to make an impact for Jesus Christ in the lives of student athletes and families. We also use these events to highlight the ministry of FCA locally, so that people can see what the ministry looks like in our area and have an opportunity to get involved by serving and support the ministry financially. This is our fifth year to hold a breakfast event in Bucks County, and we expect to attract over 300 student athletes and families.”
