45-9 under the Doug Dahms admininstration, Wilson-West Lawn’s worst season was a 9-4 mark in the 2007 season. The Bulldogs have posted consecutive 10+ victory seasons and have won 11 or more games in three of the last four years. The red and white are supposed to have not only reloaded, but also gotten bigger and meaner on both lines. QB Zach Zweizig (2,326 pass yards, 22 TD) is just 103 yards shy of 3,000 for his career. Wilson lost its top three rushers and top four receivers from a year ago, but seldom-used targets Brad Ohlinger (11 rec., 124 yds., TD) and Sheldon Hannibal-Nixon (9, 180, 1) return, as does TE/DE Cody Simcox (6, 73; 63 tackles, 5 sacks). Defensively, DB Connor Mathias (93 tackles, 1 INT) will help pace the defense. Will Wilson and Cumberland Valley meet for the third consecutive year in the District 3 playoffs? The Bulldogs won the 2008 title over the Eagles, then fell in a semifinal thriller last year.
