The Falcons have generated quite the amount of attention this offseason with four-star prospect Terrell Chestnut, who has verbally committed to Pittsburgh. Chestnut ran for 995 yards, threw for more than 500 yards, and accounted for 23 total touchdowns. He’s joined by fellow potential D-1 prospects Maika Polamalu (1,450 rush yards, 20 TD; 53 tackles, 5 sacks) and Kayvon Greene (1,061 yards, 13 TD; 81 tackles, 2 sacks). Fellow defenders TJ Demetrio (94 tackles, 5 sacks) and DL Tyler Wysochanski (80 tackles, 2 sacks) join Pottsgrove’s “Big 3.” The Falcons are coming off of an impressive 14-1 season and won the school’s first District 1 AAA championship. However, do the Falcons have the horses to compete with the Philadelphia Catholic League this year? Pottsgrove is 44-9 overall since the start of the 2006 season.
