2019 Offensive Outlook: All 4 receivers that started in our playoff game last year are back along with our starting QB and 4 of the 5 lineman that started last year. We also have additional depth at WR so that guys will be able to remain fresh throughout games. A missing piece of our offense the last 2 years was not having a TE, but we will be utilizing James Albert, Armante Haynes, and hopefully some other players in more of a hybrid, H-Back position. We also feel we have some underclassmen who will push for the final offensive line position and provide depth. Running back will probably be run by committee with Haynes, Andrew Yoon, and possibly some underclassmen.
2019 Defensive Outlook: Our defensive front returns pretty much intact from last season, but we are hoping that we have some underclassmen to provide depth on the defensive line. We have 3 returning LBs, including 3-year starter, James Albert, Armante Haynes, and Dylan Ducharme. We have to replace 3 of 4 defensive backs, where Andrew Yoon is the lone returner and may move from strong safety to free safety. We do have some seniors who have waited their turn but they will be pushed by some younger players.
2019 Special Teams Outlook: Grant Sillyman has big shoes to fill in Taylor Smith’s graduation, but he has the leg to do it. Like Taylor, Grant can kick and punt. He needs to continue to develop his consistency.
