Key Stats: The 2018 Cavaliers concluded their season with the PIAA District XI 5A Championship.

The 2018 Cavaliers led the EPC North in scoring for the second year in a row (434 points). Gone, however, are 1,300+ yard passer Braydan Mitchell, 1,900+ yard rusher Ryan Clark, first team player Eli Johnson at TE and offensive linemen Tim Kinney, Daniel Opong-Duah, and Brandon Shanley.

The 2018 Cavalier defense allowed 21 points or less in 8 games.

2019 Offensive Outlook: The Cavalier offense will feature a very deep skill group led by Junior WR Christian Sapp. The offensive line will be led by 3 seniors: Jordan Fernandez, Nick Markowski, and Brandon Boushell. For the offense to have a successful year, the Cavaliers must rely on the conditioning of two-way players in order to keep the offense at an up-tempo pace. Young players will need to adapt quickly to the speed of a varsity-level game.

2019 Defensive Outlook: The Cavalier defense will focus on their speed and athleticism to put themselves in a position to be successful. The experienced secondary (Christian Sapp, Gerrond Tanghap, and Nyree Ford-Cherry) will anchor the defense with Brandon Boushell and Nick Markowski leading the defensive front. Junior Chris Cacace returns to linebacker. In order to be successful, the Cavalier defense must execute the game-plan and focus on communication, effort, and technique.

2019 Special Teams Outlook: Junior Kicker Hunter Gilmore returns to the Cavaliers. Hunter Gilmore is also a starter for the Cavalier soccer team. Christian Sapp will be a kick and punt returner for the Cavs with his big play capability.
