2020 Offensive Outlook: Like most years, we are going to have to reinvent ourselves with the loss of our starting QB and top 4 WRs from last year. Fortunately, we have three returning starting OL and our starting TE back to start from. We really like our WRs but they will be mostly young and untested. We will be solid at RB with Andrew Yoon and Harry Adieyefeh, Jr., who both saw time in big games last year. The biggest question going into camp will be at QB where juniors, Ryan Freed and Kyle Keckler, and sophomore, Jake Reigh will compete for the position. Regardless of who wins the job, we will look a lot different on offense than we have in the past 4 years…who knows, we may even huddle…
2020 Defensive Outlook: We were very young on defense last year and made a lot of mental mistakes early in the season, which we feel cost us at least 1 game. Then we got hit with injuries. In our biggest league game we were down 5 starters. This combination really caught up with us in our playoff game. The good news is that we have our entire secondary healthy and returning. S Andrew Yoon got hurt early and Nick Teets replaced him, so they are both back. Mason Brill, who also started at S may move up to OLB. CB Nate Capers was an All-League-caliber CB and Naphtali Stine played a lot of CB, but will also have a challenger in Cole Turner. Zach Marinello is the only LB returning with game experience, however, we liked Jr. Ryan Horvath a lot, before an injury ended his sophomore season. We should be strong in the interior of our defensive line, where Donnie Nicoline, who was All-Liberty, and DJ Francis, who had 7 QB sacks as a soph. return at DT.
