2021 Offensive Outlook: The keys deal with a number of variables. Staying healthy, having a great attitude, possessing the great passion to be the best version of yourself, sacrifice, teamwork, making good choices, and finally having the ability to dream about positive outcomes. Landon Lorson returns for his Sr. year at QB. He has started since his freshman year. He is a super multi-sport athlete that has been a standout for the Mounties. Being more balanced with the run and the pass should challenge opposing defenses in 2021. Lane Lusk and Clay Swarthout are multi-year starters that have run the ball well in the past. Jake Casella is an athletic and very strong TE that blocks well and can catch the football. Lucas Long, Ryan Casella, and Austin Bowersox are all physical and fast lineman that block well. Grant Bachman had a fine year catching the ball and is a deep threat. Each year brings new challenges, but the boys have worked very hard all year. We have improved our team speed, strength, maturity, and overall team depth.

2021 Defensive Outlook: The keys to this deal with a number of variables. Staying healthy, having a great attitude, possessing the great passion to be the best version of yourself, sacrifice, teamwork, making good choices, and finally having the ability to dream about positive outcomes. Each year brings new challenges, but the boys have worked very hard all year. We have improved our team speed, strength, maturity, and overall team depth. Ryan Casella, Lane Lusk, Clay Swarthout Austin Bowersox, and Jake Casella all return at Linebacker for the Mounties. They are all strong, fast and love to play the game. Conner Apker, Chris Confer, and Lucas Long anchored the defensive front for the Mounties last year while Grant Bachman and Landon Lorson didn’t give up a passing TD in 2020. Each year brings new challenges, but the boys have worked very hard all year. We have improved our team speed, strength, maturity, and overall team depth.

2021 Special Teams Outlook: Staying healthy, having a great attitude, possessing the great passion to be the best version of yourself, sacrifice, teamwork, making good choices, and finally having the ability to dream about positive outcomes. Each year brings new challenges, but the boys have worked very hard all year. We have improved our team speed, strength, maturity, and overall team depth. We are looking forward to building multiple competitive special teams units in 2021. Covering kicks and punts, having sure hands, and returning and securing the ball are all key points to master.
