Offensive Outlook: We lost some key pieces in our backfield, but Ethan Bennink returns along with our QB Matt McCloskey. We return 5 OL and 2 TE with game experience and if we execute, should have a solid run game. Jack Tuel could be the best OL in our league next year. He has the great athletic ability for a big body. We need to find our explosive play guys on offense. Nate Holt and Luke Schriver will be valuable in the passing game. Like any offense, we have to limit mistakes and penalties.

Defensive Outlook: We return most of our LB core and these guys know our defense. Nate Holt can be the best defensive player in our league, and his offseason prep has been impressive. Bennink is back at the corner, and Luke Schriver is a 3-year starter at FS. Luke is a big play guy who runs our secondary. We are excited to have him for a full season ( he played only one game last year). We start with 3 run teams on our schedule so we will have to be physical. Any good defense will have 11 good tacklers and will pursue relentlessly to the ball!

Special Teams Outlook: We lost Weston Grim, our punter. However, Brian Dym, who kicked last year, will take over punting as well. Brian has had a great offseason! His hang time on punts and his accuracy and distance in the kicking game has improved tremendously! He should have a very productive year.

Mike Hebb, our special team’s coordinator, does a great job with schemes, and we think that we have 2 young returners who can put pressure on coverage teams.
