  1. Nazareth has a turf field and outside of rumors that more than two people quit the Allen squad, game is still scheduled to go on.

    It’s a turf field.
    I think most of the issues are due to people getting through areas of flooding, etc. to get to the game itself.

  3. High school ball not like it use to be. The best teams now would have a hard time beating the worse teams back in the 70’s

  4. Sorry to say the old days are gone. Of course they were played on Saturday morning before a few fans.

    Once you sell tickets to any event it is no longer just for fun.

    The schools now depend on the money to cover their costs.

I don’t get understand why these games are being postponed…Like Paul saided, in the 80 and 90 these games were played regardless…whats the purpose of all of these turf fields? i thought one of the reasons was they could play in this type of weather!!! I was a three year starter on one of the best HS teams in the philly area, never had a game postponed..its a shame..we baby these kids..the parents are even worst…
